I just messed up what I'd consider to have been the opportunity to win this tourny. I got a wonderful board with an 8 and a 4 and the rest easy. I got confused, put the 4 in the wrong col, replaced it, flagged the 8 one flag short and ended up searching the last flag for 5 secs: and still I got an 11!
Sometimes I could hate myself  Angry

There seems to be a bug with the 2. Div points.
The points beside the scores read 14 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 2 to me instead of 8 - 6 - 5 - ... Reads it the same for you?

I noticed that too, though it seems to have gone away now. Hmm, theres been odd point things before but usually with something unusual like times under 1s, and I didnt see anything unusual about those times.

There seems to be some kind of bug in the tournament generation system, sometimes 2 kind of boards are generated one we actually play and one "virtual" (if it happens again, check it tomorrow in the "Tournament list" before Yariv deletes the virtual one). Maybe double points have something to do with that? But doubling only D2 points is weird indeed  Wink

Did anybody notice that Yariv, the famous inventor of Nonosweeper, had to relegate into division 3 - after having been in division 2 for 12 seasons in a row?! Very sad, I think!

By the way: On my webpage (http://www.stephan-bechtel.de), you can find a new nono tournaments' statistics -> tables of the most successful players of each division. Feel free to send me your comments.

Well... I'd love to see him back, it would mean he has some free time and can develop Nonosweeper  Wink On the other hand it's nice to know the sweeping community is improving and soon the Division 1 will have to fight hard to remain at the very top  Cool

Yes! I never thought I could win a tourny on such a board.

However, the T3 board is my a real nightmare for me!
I somehow got this 45 and a min later a 47 playing NF but it really hurts my head. I tried it flagging only and got down to 62.09, I'll have another go - it's much more fun to play it like this  Cool

grats Christoph, it's always nice to win a tournament Wink And I think you have to improve your NFing a bit to be able to get some points in this T  Tongue

I'm really missing this nice smiley which keeps on banging its head against a wall. I was hesitating so long with the last flag!!! That really should have been the high 3 which I estimate will be necessary to win this T. But however I should be more than contend with having put myself in the lead at least for the moment. Unfortuneately I can't see this 4.4 standing till sunday.

Perfect estimation, Christoph. Was hard enough to beat your 4.40, and then Maruda's 4.03 as well...

Grats/thx Stephan Smiley

I don't think I'll have more time to play this week a pitty since I really like the board and I think I could eventually get a 0.99 on it. However, 2.07 should get me enough points to secure me the Div1 for next season.

btw I got a new minesweeper score, I'm on 15 now.
