Well, it seems that I'm the only one, who really doesn't like the strategy. Of course I know that it is absolutly correct and that there don't exist rules for Nonosweeper tournaments. So I accept the decision of the others (Maruda, Stephan and hexx). I just wanted to know your opinions, before Season 4 is starting.

@Gero: I quote myself: "I don't really like this strategy", so you definitively not the only one who really doesn't like the strategy... Grin

Generally speaking, there is a way to keep #1 until the end of a T session: You have to upload times that are so fast that his times aren't fast enough for #1 Wink

From my point of view, it is not a matter of like or dislike late uploading.
I have no doubts, i will use it in the future, maybe on season 5 or 6, because i pretend to win 1 tournament season. Wink

That's funny: Just got the same score Stephan has: 8,87s Grin
Of course I hope I'll beat that score. Wink

That's the reason why I will never hold back my records, but upload them as immediately as possible Wink. By the way, you have to beat a 8.60 now to pass me Grin

And, finally: It's very likely that Luca has a 7.85 (just a guess) still to upload...

I appreciate the exact times so that even for fast boards, a ranking without ties is possible!

But, of course, I hate the current result of hexx being #1 with 7.88 and my being "only" #2 with 7.89, which is a tiny gap of 0.01 Angry. So, I'll do my very best to improve to a 7.87 Grin

@hexx, unfortunately, you were really close with your prediction.

I played a lot to get that 7.67, but as usual, when I was in front of the tournament ranking on saturday evening, today, it's the regular disappointment with Luca having finally uploaded a 7.59 (crappy gap of 0.08 seconds)...
@Gero, just for you: You're not only one who hates those late uploads!!!!!

@Luca: Doesn't you have to do anything else than sitting at home on saturday evening or sunday early morning and uploading tournament scores as late as possible?? Maybe, my tactics of having a life besides nonosweeper isn't good for winning any tournament... Sorry for my sarkasm!

thank you Stephan. Usually I upload my times when I come back home (by the way, last T I upload it in the afternoon)

everybody doesn't like this strategy, expecially who is temporary winning. will this tournament happen to Maruda? (but I think t's very hard for me to beat a 43)..
everybody hates me Sad

@Luca: When I uploaded my 7.67, I was in #1, so I tended to be happy...

@Maruda/hexx: 43 and 47 are VERY good times for that board. Yesterday, I managed to do a 66, which is a personal best for me Undecided. How long did you play? Hopefully, you got some lucky mine distribution to finish such quickly... And Maruda, I would be interested, too, to see your screenshot!

@all: I really hate the current tournament board, and even worse that I don't like the board is the fact that this tournament came up again after only 2 other boards in between. What do you think about the 12x12 with 45 mines? Do you like it? Don't you think the factor luck is too big there?

And a final suggestion: Yariv, maybe, in the random tournament board generator, you can install a break for each board of at least 5 weeks or something like that after it was chosen?
